I suppose I’d have to admit

to being, shall we say,

“a little too self absorbed”.

But hey,

there’s nobody else in here.

AND, last but not least:

I was glad to hear from you

after that last hurricane went through Narragansett,

taking a local inhabitant off to sea.

In knowing it wasn’t David during a solstice celebration,

I was relieved.
