June was the best of times and the worst of times, from 78 to 98 and almost everything in between. It was wet until mid June and then it was hot and windy and I'd just recovered from those shanks and began thinking too much. Carl was out with surgery and as the course conditions improved, I didn't. Still in all, not a bad June, just one full of promise, just out of reach like a par putt left dead in, short.
