Forth Update (from October
through December).
About all there is
to say for the “final” quarter is that there was almost NO final quarter as the
weather controlled what golf, if any, was played.
In October, a wet
month, there were only 189 holes played, mostly in a lift, clean and place
situation, and I scored well, indeed, averaging, and AVERAGING 79.0 strokes per
18 holes.
In November,
winter set in early and only 36 holes were played, just enough for me to log
1800 for the season and to have then played the same number of holes each of
the past two years. It continued raining from November 1st, and
worked in some snow as well, but again I averaged 79.0 strokes per 18 holes and
finished the season on a high note.
In December, NO
GOLF, just rain, cold and snow, and 2003 came to an end. My best golf season,
so far, is over.
See, for those
interested, the 2003 actuals for the bloody details of what I can only describe
as a wonderful world of golf for me.
