And Judy
didn't hear from Tina, either.
This year was the first
in 18
I did not hear from,
much less see
my boys
for thanksgiving.
I suppose, but don't
know for sure
this is about money, and
between Jason and me.
So, Jason lets me know I'm
an irresponsible father
because I won't give him
his mothers alimony money.
And, as a matter of
fact, after twenty years
at $25 a week, twenty
six thousand,
the way I make it,
she and I are even, at
least.
"If you’re short,
get it from your mother."
"I can't believe
you're fuckin over your own children."
"It's not your
money, it's your mothers."
"Are you going to give it to me, or
not?"
"No"
Jason hung up.
It'd be my guess I'd be
playing the role of the bad guy
in my children’s eyes
and so I guess this is
just the price for doing what you think is right
while having to deal
with crazy people.
I accept that, but I
don't have to like it.
