1st Quality System Thought.

People are required to follow procedures

and when they don't it means at least two things:

· They choose not to follow the procedure

· They do not have the capability to follow the procedure

(and perhaps this even applies to reading and, or understanding)

You have several choices in dealing with this situation:

1. Punish the people in either case

OR

2. Change the procedures involved in each violation

by engaging those involved to update, simplify and help implement,

across all areas.

Talk about an excellent use for Quality Teams across an area.
