Pressure is that sense you feel when you're rushing, later realizing you didn't have to, but chose to.

Pressure is a measure of self-confidence.

The whole thing is putting all the pieces together as you know them, avoiding specialization. The whole thing requires imagination.

 

 

Machine Man.

 

 

I'd like to talk in terms other than re-engineering because I wouldn't want any of my ideas

to get lumped into a category of that sort.

 

There are fronts: Deal with machines and people. Machines go faster than people doing the same task.

 

Automate the task with a machine and teach people how to run them. You need time, money, and you'll lose half the people.

 

Changing Machine Man to Computer Man will save money in the long run,

But it is the end for Machine Man.
