Front yard, back yard.

In our front yard, every July like clockwork, grows the largest concentrations of "tiger lilies" known to anyone upon the North Eastern portion of the USA. This cluster happened as I've planted and re-planted these flexible beauties and paint them (twice now) when I get a chance. This effort dated 7/21/96 was a great time as people stopped by, we talked and I painted, and finished this in my studio a few days later.

Pretty soon, most likely in a year or so, we'll be moving from Rugby Avenue to the place where we'll retire. The painting of the backyard at Rugby was done on a fine, beautiful day in September and is one of several of the yard, and general Rugby "thing". It also shows the sun flowers we planted from Marylou that took most of the season to grow, but when they did they grew six or seven feet tall. The most powerful flowers in the garden, by far. Here's to Rugby.
