Regina

Regina is Judy’s oldest daughter and a great fan of Modigliani and, for some strange unknown reason, she began brining me art books. The first, a beautiful compilation of Degas, and the second,

Monet. I added these to my "teacher" works and used the first as noted, earlier.

Every once in a while Regina will talk. Her life, like mine, has been affected, shall we say, by divorces, and for almost the same reason. I took care of people while Regina likes to be taken care of

and she, like me (for reasons that can only be described as self- destructive) donated large amounts of time trying to help people who would not help themselves.

It took me too long to learn that no one can help anyone who won't help themselves, and I got on by this unfortunate trap, Regina's still stuck.

Regina has retreated into a semi-religious cult, home schooling her children and making it impossible for her to work (her choice of isolation) rather than deal with the world. She’ll tell you she has no choice because she doesn’t have any money, which is a direct result of having NO job. I wish she’d forgive her self and rejoin the world.

“Regina, it’s ok to let your self be happy. Only you can do it, only you.”
