Just about now I'm starting to cry

For a long time now

I haven't felt anything

and I'm trying to figure out why.

I know I changed at a faster pace

and, perhaps, that's just catching up to me now.

My compacted energy found many releases

and once filled,

I now ring empty.

Missing is that touch of ease

whose absence has become a sigh.
