When a young man dies

there is wheat, flowers,

to signify

ever lasting life, as a symbol.

In the life

for us who remain,

is how to explain

just how special this young man was.

Death is confusing,

mostly the reason for it,

as he was the most special of men.

He walked fields

and knew of their meanings

and taught it

to those of us who didn't.

He understood

the beauty of life

and gave to you all of him self.

Your husband and daddy was my friend

for he taught me many things,

"life is giving to those you love".

In his death

there is great strength

for in all of our lives

he cast his fate

upon our outcomes.

Be strong

my little girls for a teacher

has touched our lives,

leaving more than a name.

We must now be

all if not more,

than we could have been

had it not been decided

a teacher was needed elsewhere.
